Chapter 04 / 12

Generation and editing

Deribfy generates a complete site from a plain-language description, then lets you change it in two ways: by talking to an assistant, or by editing each element directly. Both remain available before and after publication.

Scope: all site types.

Questions this page answers: What exactly does Deribfy generate? What language is my site written in? How do I edit my site? Can I ask for changes in plain language? Can I change colours and theme? Does Deribfy generate images?

What Deribfy generates

From your description, Deribfy produces:

  • your business name and tagline;
  • the sector it belongs to;
  • the headline and subheadline;
  • an about section;
  • content sections with their items;
  • testimonials;
  • your contact details, when you provided them;
  • a colour palette;
  • images illustrating the site.

The site is not a template with replaced text: it is written for your business from what you described.

Language

Your site is generated in the language you used to describe your business. 36 languages are supported, including Arabic with right-to-left script.

Editing by conversation

You ask for a change in plain language, for example:

  • "change the main colour to dark green";
  • "rewrite the about section, shorter and more direct";
  • "add a section about our opening hours";
  • "change this product's price to 39";
  • "remove this testimonial".

The assistant proposes the change and you approve it. Nothing is applied without your agreement.

Editing directly

Panels let you change things by hand: text, colours, theme, sections, contact details, and — depending on the site type — products, orders and payments.

The four visual themes are interchangeable at any time, without losing your content.

Available tools depend on the site type

A showcase website and an online store have the widest set of content and product tools. A dropshipping store exposes fewer, because its catalogue comes from a partner rather than from you.

Before and after publication

Editing works the same way before and after going live. After publication, your site is not frozen. Your changes appear online immediately. There is no re-publish step.

Limits

  • The assistant proposes changes; it never publishes or charges anything on its own.
  • Available editing tools depend on the site type.
